Differential impedance, jitter, and loss limits
Use one tab at a time. Spacing, height, and length are millimetres. Jitter is picoseconds or nanoseconds. Frequency is megahertz or gigahertz.
Worked example
Differential impedance 81.621 ohm
Zdiff = 2 * Z0 * (1 - 0.48 * exp(-0.96 * s / h))
Spacing and height are both millimetres, so s/h is dimensionless. Trace length is on the drawing and is not in this equation.
